Life Savers Canada believes in respecting everyone. Therefore, any type of abuse/harassment will not be tolerated and will NOT be eligible for refund. Participants who harass others, use inappropriate language, or make offensive comments will be asked to leave the class and will not receive a refund or a chance to re-apply. The participant will not be given their certification if they have not completed the course requirements. Appeals may be made to the management of Life Savers Canada only.
Participants can appeal any objection of their certification to the instructor at the end of their class. The instructor will make all reasonable and time-permitting attempts to assist the participant in any area he/she may need further instruction. If that attempt fails, the participant may appeal to the management of Life Savers Canada via email or in person with a written/typed letter. The participant may be asked to repeat all or a portion of the course at a later date agreed upon by the participant and Life Savers Canada. If available, a different instructor will be used. If the participant is again unsuccessful he/she will have to re-register into another course and re-pay the original fee.
All cancellations/refunds requests must be received within three (3) days before the course begins by email: email@example.com. All refund are subject to ten ($10.00) dollars administration fee deductions. Should there be any cancellation by Life Savers Canada for reasons beyond control, Life Savers Canada will NOT give refund but may reschedule at a future date. Please direct refund requests by email with explanation of reason why you need to refund, along with a copy of the transaction receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All complaints will go directly to management of Life Savers Canada and will be handled as soon as possible during regular business hours. If the complaint is urgent, all instructors have after-hours contact information of the management of Life Savers Canada. Every reasonable attempt will be made to resolve the complaint in a timely and appropriate manner. Complaints can be made via email, phone, or in person.
Life Savers Canada’s training partner/affiliates recommends a minimum number of participants for each class. If there’s NOT enough participants, we will give you an option of moving the training location or change the date. Or, we have to cancel the class. You will be notified within 2 to 5 business days before your training schedule. If you register less than FIVE business days before your training schedule and there’s not enough participants, we will send you a NEW confirmation by phone/email.
CREDIT CARD, DEBIT VISA, ETRANSFER
Life Savers Canada DOES NOT keep copy of any type of payment. Payment MUST be made in order to reserve your seat. The payment can be made by credit card, Debit Visa, or e-Transfer. However, if the participant fails to show up for class and not give sufficient notice (via email: registration@lifesaverscanada or phone: 403-474-8980; 780-328-2380), or a legitimate reason for the absence, all fees will be forfeited.
LATE OR NO SHOW
If arriving late, it is at the instructor’s discretion whether the participant may or may NOT be allowed to enter the class. However, the participant may be allowed for one-time rescheduling. See Cancellations/Refund Policy. If the participant does not show up to the course and has not made arrangements or reschedules before the course begins, the participant forfeits all fees. Extreme circumstances may be excused and is at the instructor’s discretion. We strongly encourage everyone to arrive at least 10 minutes before the class begins.
All locations will have restrooms and some locations may be subject to parking fees. If there is any change of the location, participants will be notified by phone or email before the course begins.
Personal data collected by Life Savers Canada, such as participant’s name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail, etc., is used to register participants in current and future courses. Life Savers Canada participants could receive an email or telephone notification when the issued certificate is about to expire. Should participants desire not be notified, participants must contact Life Savers Canada via telephone or e-mail. Life Savers Canada will not sell or share any personal information. Life Savers Canada transfers participant information for certification purposes to the Training Partners/Affiliates(depending on the course participants are taking) through a secure database. Therefore, Life Savers Canada is not responsible for any intercepted information sent through any unsecured wireless devices.
The participant must provide proof of current certification before the class begins. If the participant cannot provide proof of certification, the participant may be allowed to join the class if they choose, but will not receive a new certificate until proof of the current one is provided. If the participant fails to provide proof of current certificate the participant will forfeit the full course fee.
Any rescheduling of the course without legitimate/valid reason will NOT be allowed. Any change of date MUST be made at least three (3) days before the course begins by email: email@example.com. If the notification is less than three (3) days, then NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND. However, we will allow ONE-TIME rescheduling with no extra charge. If rescheduling is allowed, the maximum grace period is 45 days to reschedule without extra charge.
In an event the participants need to reschedule again after one-time rescheduling, then the Life Savers Canada may offer 50% discount from the original/regular price of the course, NOT from the promotional price. Please note this is subject to the availability of the course. RISK TO PARTICIPANT
The participant understands that there will be a physical involvement to their course. If the participant cannot perform the CPR component, they may take part in the course; however, they will not be certified by the Canadian Red Cross. Life Savers Canada is not responsible or liable for any injury that may happen during the course.
SALES, SPECIAL OFFERS, DISCOUNTS
Special offer, promotion, discounts, or sales are to save our participants for the cost of the course. However, you MUST pay for the course before the day of your training. Any payment during the day of your training will NOT be accepted unless it’s PREARRANGED with Life Savers Canada staff, NOT with by our instructor(s). In extreme circumstances, it’s at the discretion of the Life Savers Canada to accept payment during the day of the training. Life Savers Canada reserves that right to refuse any coupons/discount codes.
No smoking is allowed in the building. There is a smoking bylaw that prohibits smoking anywhere on the property. This includes the parking lot. Please step off the property to smoke. Management has asked for a fifteen-foot distance from the property.
