CRC – Basic Life Support (BLS) – (RECERT) [Calgary NE – Afternoon]

This course is designed for Health Care Providers: physicians, nurses, paramedics and related health care workers. This course includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies, as well as choking for adults, children, and babies. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
FOR PHYSICAL DISTANCING, THERE MAY BE SOME COMPONENTS IN THIS CLASS THAT WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PRACTICE (ROLE PLAYING). PLEASE READ THE DIGITAL COPY OF YOUR BOOK THAT WE WILL BE SEND BY EMAIL TO YOU BEFORE YOUR CLASSROOM TRAINING TO MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL THE INFORMATION FOR THIS COURSE.

CERTIFICATION EXPIRY DATE: 1 year from the date of certification

- Physical distancing can be relaxed providing ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR A PROCEDURAL MASK (NOT HOME-MADE) AT ALL TIMES. If you need a mask we can provide you one for $1.00 (please bring cash).
- Every participants must wear gloves during all skill practices. Please bring $2.00 cash to purchase a CPR valve.
