Basic one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.

DURATION: 4 hours Online learning and 4 hours Classroom training

PRE-REQUISITE: ONLINE LEARNING MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE CLASSROOM TRAINING. Proof that you completed your Online learning (Certificate of Completion)

CERTIFICATION EXPIRY DATE: 3 years from the date of certification

TRAINING LOCATION: Unit 8 – 401 33 Street NE (Calgary Central SportsPlex)

IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAFETY GUIDELINES:

• Physical distancing can be relaxed providing ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR A PROCEDURAL MASK (NOT HOME-MADE) AT ALL TIMES. If you need a mask we can provide you one for $1.00 (please bring cash).
• Every participants must wear gloves during all skill practices.
