This course provides essential first aid training for responding to emergencies. Learners will develop knowledge and skills in CPR, AED use, choking response, circulation emergencies, wound care, and more. Course curriculum meets the requirements for the Federal or Provincial Authority Having Jurisdiction over first aid training for the workplace. This course aligns with CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Basic First Aid (Z1210-17).

Ideal for workplaces, community members, and anyone seeking basic first aid certification for use at work, in the community, or at home.

How to pull-out the main door to enter
Until further notice, the main sliding door is under maintenance so it needs to be open manually. Please pull out the side door to open.

FREE Parking. Parking is available on the West and North side of the building. You may park in any parking stalls including with designated signs for other companies as they have moved out.

BLENDED COURSE INFORMATION:

  • The date you are choosing is for the In-Classroom Training. You can start your Online Learning at any time after you receive your online invitation from the Canadian Red Cross.
  • THE ONLINE LEARNING PORTION MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOUR IN-CLASSROOM TRAINING.
  • You should receive an email from Canadian Red Cross within 24 hours or earlier to access your Online Learning portion. Please check your junk mail if necessary.
  • After you received your invitation from Canadian Red Cross and having problem accessing the online portion, please contact Canadian Red Cross (1-877-356-3226).

Duration: 4 hours Online Learning + 5 hours In-Classroom Training

In-Classroom Training Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (may not including breaks)

Pre-Requisite: Proof that you completed your Online Learning (Certificate of Completion)

Certification Expiry Date: 3 years from the date of certification
