Abbreviation: HSF – Heart & Stroke Foundation
Basic Life Support (BLS) course through Heart and Stroke is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. It is designed for healthcare professionals, trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings, or by those that require BLS certification and CPR training to enter into a healthcare-related training program, and teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in pre-hospital and in-facility settings.
Duration: 3 – 4 hours In-Classroom Training
In-Classroom Training Time: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Pre-Requisite: None
Certification Expiry Date: 1 year from the date of certification
